Is there a setup fee?
No. There are no setup fees on any of our plans.
Can I cancel my account at any time?
Yes. If at any point you decide Moltin is not the best platform for your business, you can cancel at any time.
Do I need to enter my credit card details to sign up?
No. You can sign up for a free trial and use all the Moltin core services and advanced capabilities for 14 days without entering your credit card details. After 14 days, or when you're ready to launch your store, you can then enter your card details. We will only charge your card if you elect to use our advanced capabilities (Flows or Events), or if you process more than $100 in orders through Moltin in a given month - otherwise you can continue to enjoy Moltin for free.
How long are your contracts?
All Moltin plans are month-to-month, unless you are part of a custom package and have opted for annual billing. Why monthly? We want to be flexible - how much you'll be charged will dynamically change depending on your revenue.
Can I use a 3rd party payment provider with Moltin or does Moltin include own payment gateway?
Moltin provides seamless integration with most major third party payment providers like Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, etc. In addition we also have a manual gateway that lets you plug any unsupported payment provider into your system.
Are there any transaction fees?
Moltin does not add any additional transaction fees on top of those your gateway of choice implements; the prices shown on this page are what you will pay, depending on your sales that month.
What if I don't process orders through Moltin?
Your monthly subscription is governed via our fair use policy, which sets out the expected costs depending on your API request volumes.
Do you have any discounts for open source projects, non-profits, or educational institutions?
We’re always interested in hearing from those working on interesting projects, and offer discounts on a case-by-case basis for these scenarios.
