V1 deprecation notice

Last updated: 31 Jul 2019
We’re very happy to announce that on the Monday 17th July 2017, Version 1 of our API will be locked off for new users.

This still means we will continue to support our wonderful Version 1 pioneers for some time to come, but all new signups and stores will be directed to build on Version 2 from the date above.

Version 2 represents a huge leap in speed and functionality for our community and the team at Moltin. We’ve already seen some very awesome reference applications being built on our new system, and now we’re really excited to see how that continues to grow.

Want to get running on Version 2 now?

Great! Your Version 1 API keys have already been prepped for use on Version 2 so you’re good to go. Just remember, although you can authenticate with your existing keys against any version of the API, products and store data is considered separate. This means you will not see your Version 1 store on Version 2.

How do I get my existing store over to Version 2?

In the next few months, we’ll be releasing tools to help you get your store data transferred to Version 2. If you want to move faster just contact one of the team and we’d be happy to help.

What happens if I don’t want to move to Version 2?

Although we do plan to support Version 1 users for as long as we can, Version 2 gives your store more freedom, more speed and more power behind the scenes.

If you’re worried about migrating, contact a member of the team by submitting a ticket to the support center and we can help you out.
