10 Ways to Get Ready for NRF’s Big Show

You bought your ticket and booked your hotel and flight for NRF Big Show 2019. What other things do you need to do to be prepared?

With 2019 NRF Big Show fast approaching, it’s time to put a solid plan in place for what you want to get out of the event. Make sure you’re able to take advantage of all the amazing opportunities that NRF Big Show has to offer by getting prepared ahead of time.

Here are 10 ways to get ready and make the most of your time at the expo!

 

Review the agenda and decide on sessions before you get there

What exactly is your goal for NRF? This should shape the schedule of the sessions that you attend. Instead of feeling overwhelmed with all the choices and missing potentially powerful sessions, take a look at the agendaahead of time.

 

Decide on what keynote speakers are a must see

Big Show 2019 offers some of the most powerful voices in retail today. Since it’s impossible to see all of them, look at the keynote speakers and decide now who you need to see. Are there businesses you would like to emulate? A CEO or brand you admire? Make sure that you don’t miss out on some amazing speakers.

 

Plan your expo hall visit and give yourself enough time to visit all the booths

Don’t get too excited about attending the sessions and listening to the speakers that you end up missing out on the booths in the expo hall. There’ll be some amazing vendors  with the newest products, technology and services that can benefit your brand and business.

Have a plan for after the show to make the most out of the investment

You need to plan out more than just the event itself to get the most out of Big Show 2019. Think about what you need after the show, whether ordering a copy of a talk you like, following up after networking events, or connecting with a booth or service you find interesting.

 

Plan for long days and lots of walking

Wear comfortable shoes, drink lots of water and make sure to get your rest ahead of time. You want to get the most out of your weekend, so long days and lots of walking are necessary.
