Further improvements to the Moltin architecture

Last updated: 21 Jun 2019

We have recently moved our infrastructure to Kubernetes to handle our ever-expanding APIs and user base. Read more about this endeavour in one of my previous blog posts where I explain why we did it and what benefits you can expect.

We strive for continuous improvement to offer you the most up-to-date and reliable technology available on the market.

As part of Moltin optimization, and to address our December incident, we have successfully moved our services to the new third party database provider.

Here’s the list of the services that were migrated:

  • Currencies
  • Settings
  • Files
  • Addresses
  • Payment Gateways
  • Orders

The new architecture makes Moltin even more secure, faster and scalable, and is now fully prepared to handle exponential growth of any business that relies on our APIs.

Don’t let technology constrain your horizons! Instead, harness its full potential and create cutting-edge commerce projects to delight your customers.

Top considerations for your 2020 ecommerce technology strategy

Considering re-platforming in 202? Join us on December 11th at 2:00 pm ET to learn the pros and cons of the top 4 tech stacks you should look at, how to decide which is right for you, and why it's risky to do nothing.
