Beta version shutdown

Last updated: 24 Jun 2019
The Moltin API beta version will officially retire on February 1st 2016.

We’ve come a long way since releasing the beta version, most traffic has been moving to v1 and it’s now time for us to retire the beta version and continue our push with v1 and onwards. Closing down our beta version means everyone will benefit from a more stable and secure system, and it will put everyone in a better place for compatibility as we progress.

We’ll be holding blackout tests during January to highlight the issue. These dates will be:

  • January 11th
  • January 18th
  • January 25th
  • January 28th

Depending on the results of that blackout test, we may announce additional tests before the final retirement date.

The announcements will be broadcasted ahead of schedule in several places so you can keep your eye out here:

If you have remaining questions or are having difficulty migrating to API v1, you can contact us here via e-mail.
